Io Zeus, Io Tells Her Story

Zeus and Io in Greek Mythology

Io was, in Greek classical mythology, a priestess of Hera in Argos who was seduced by Zeus. He then changed her into a heifer to escape detection by his wife.

Hera sent ever-watchful Argus with 100 eyes to guard her against any future advances by Zeus, but Hermes was dispatched by Zeus to distract the guardian and slay him.
