Mythic Dreaming, Encounters with Love and Death
An exhibition of original artwork by Helga Hedgewalker, Paul B. Rucker, and Roger Williamson, original founding members of the MCPA (Minneapolis Collective of Pagan Artists
Helga Hedgewalker, Paul B. Rucker, and Roger Williamson will present paintings, mixed media, and digital works that invite the audience to venture into dreamscapes where Love and Death ignite.
Mythic Dreaming opens Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 7-10 p.m. The Event will include a short ritual theatre experience featuring masked ritualists.
The exhibition will be open for public viewing Saturdays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Wednesday evenings 6-9 p.m. through Saturday, December 9, 2023.
Wednesday, November 29: Storytelling with Steven Posch. The performance will begin approximately at 7 p.m. An ASL interpreter will be on hand for this performance, courtesy of the Vine Arts Center.
Closing night will be Saturday, December 9 from 7-10 p.m. featuring a Masked Ball open to all and free to attend.
Helga Hedgewalker, Paul B. Rucker, and Roger Williamson, original founding members of the MCPA (Minneapolis Collective of Pagan Artists) have transitioned together from MCPA to the Mythic Art Circle. Moving forward, we intend to present mythopoeic and visionary art and exhibitions with a wide range of influences and intentions.
