Tarot Tower Card Ruled by Mars
The Tarot Tower card, ruled by Mars, represents a spontaneous reaction to external forces, epitomised by Achilles’ personality in the Iliad. This is an emotionless response, an automatic action, without emotion or guilt. Shame, maybe, but not guilt.
Its expression as positive or negative will be determined by the surrounding or subsequent cards.
We destroy the Tower from within, not from without. It symbolises that we have reached the point in our journey where we dare to transcend the false idea we have of ourselves, the Tower.
Escaping it, we release who we truly are and see the Tower for what it is: an eidolon.
A place we go to fall – obsessive ambition.
