Dream Linguistics, Dream Language

Dream Linguistics A picture is a hieroglyph concealing a story. A story is a spell, evoking a picture Dream linguistics. art as a language of dream interpretation,  a technique of communication employed by classes of diverse orders of beings desiring to converse with one another. The application of this method is not dependent on the communicating energy systems being of the same race, species, or even coexisting in the same time, space, or dimension.  The communication will naturally occur when an in-between[i] consciousness state engages between the communicants.  This in-between consciousness is the realm of “creative dreaming,” which correlates with […]

Sabbat, Dark Interpreter

Sabbat, Dark Interpreter, De Quincy Dreams of Levana and Our Ladies of Sorrow Sabbat or Dark Interpreter, inspired by Thomas De Quincy’s Confessions of an English Opium Eater, is oil on wood, 48 inches by 48 inches, 2016. Purchase the original painting of Sabbat from Saatchi Art Since the Middle Ages, until comparatively recently, a conjecture of public opinion held the view that visits of witches and warlocks to the Sabbat were a physical experience. The Vodoun Spirit

The Vodoun Spirit Vodoun Spirit, while on a visit to Haiti in the late 1980’s, I happened to be in a market selling locally carved wooden images of Vodoun deities and animals.  As is typical, all were painted in brilliant colors, except for one which really stood out. I purchased the unpainted carving which became the model for this painting. There is more to this story because a friend who was with me purchased two of the painted statues.  At the end of our trip, my friend returned to England and I came home to Minneapolis. About a year later I was in […]

Tarot Tower Explained

Tarot Tower Explained The tarot Tower card signifies destruction, but it is important to recognize that this destruction comes from within rather than from outside forces. The Tower represents the moment in our journey when we gather the courage to transcend the false self-image we have constructed—the Tower itself. By breaking free from this illusion, we are able to unleash our true selves and perceive the Tower for what it truly is: a mere eidolon (an unsubstantial image or phantom). This card suggests liberation, awakening, and the courage required to shed old beliefs and embrace authenticity. Tarot of the Morning […]
