Last Three Days to see Chimera

Last opportunity to experience the Chimera Exhibition this Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th. I will be at the gallery, Stevens Square Center For The Arts on Friday August 23rd from 5pm until 8pm to take visitors on a guided walk through and explanation of the images. Stevens Square Center For The Arts will also be open on Saturday August 24th and Sunday August 25th from 1pm until 5pm. See Chimera

Local Artist Interviews Interview with Roger Williamson prior to the Chimera Opening at SSCA. Local Artist Interviews presents Minneapolis visual artist and author Roger Williamson. Born in Loughborough, UK, in 1947, Roger Williamson has been inspired from an early age by the French Symbolist painters of late nineteenth century France, especially Gustave Moreau, Jean Delville and Fernand Knopff. Chimera Update:  New Paintings The Chimera exhibition features several new paintings, including the triptych “Fall, Paradise Is For Those Who Do What They Are Told”, a work composed of three 8 foot by 4 foot oil on wood panels. The paintings explore the concept of the “Fall” from three perspectives, Gnosticism, Greek mythology and Shamanism.
